Our Mission

The mission of Friedens Peace United Church of Christ is to help families grow together in Faith, Spirit, Love and Community, through the study of the Gospel and fellowship that demonstrates the way of Christ locally and worldwide.

Help Needed

The church needs two people to serve on the Council for 2022 and people to service on the Worship Committee and the Fundraising/ Fellowship Committee.  These three committees are the nuts and bolts of the church.  Without people serving on these committees, it is very difficult to be the church.  Please prayerfully consider serving in one of these positions.

Congregational Meeting – December 5

At our upcoming congregational meeting, we will be taking an anonymous, non-binding survey vote to assess the following question:   "If we were to vote today on whether our congregation should adopt a formal O&A welcoming statement (thereby becoming an O&A congregation), how would you vote?"  This will simply help us gauge where we are as a congregation.  Any questions about this, please see Helen or another member of the O&A committee.

If you cannot attend in person, here is the information needed to join via Zoom.  Once connected, you should see a poll question which will ask the above question.  This is an anonymous poll.  Please make your selection any time during the meeting.

Adopt A Family

The Outreach Committee has agreed to adopt a local Daniel Boone Elementary family for Christmas this year.  Instead of having a tree with tags you can take, we have an online sign up.  You should have already received an email with a link.  If you have not, you can click on the link below.  This is their wish list, you can sign up for one slot or many slots, that is up to you.  There will be a box at church for you to drop off your gift.  All gifts should be unwrapped, and marked, “Family #3, and child’s age” or if it is for the family, mark it “Family #3, Family Gift”.  Gifts need to be at church no later than 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 14th.  If you have any questions, you can contact the church office or Kim Robinson at 636.795.1663.
