Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor.
We have a Nursery available for care of your small children during worship. Come, all are welcome!
We appreciate your support and give thanks!
The mission of Friedens Peace United Church of Christ is to help families grow together in Faith, Spirit, Love and Community, through the study of the Gospel and fellowship that demonstrates the way of Christ locally and worldwide.
“Christians Making a Difference, One Person at a Time”
This week at Friedens Peace
Please mark your calendars for Sunday, December 4 for our Congregational Meeting. It will be held right after church, in the sanctuary. At this meeting we will be electing two new council members, two members for the Cemetery Committee and one member for the Trust Committee.
Adopt a Family
The Worship Committee has volunteered to take the lead on this annual event. Due to the small numbers that we have, we thought we should try something different. Tina Benne’s friend is involved with a food pantry named Ekklesia (previously Westplex). This pantry is solely supported by private donations. The food is for people in our local area. They put together a food basket every year for families to have a complete meal for Christmas. They try to give each family a turkey or ham and all the sides to go along with it. We have a box in the Narthex for any items you would like to donate. If you are donating a frozen turkey or ham, please put it in the deep freezer downstairs and let us know it is there. If you would like to donate money for us to purchase items, you can do that also. You may put it in the offering plate or mail it, just mark on the check “Food Pantry” or you can donate using the link for the food pantry donations on our website.
