2022 Neighbors in Need BEHOLD! Special Offering – October 2nd
The annual Neighbors in Need (NIN) special offering focuses on economic justice. This year inflation is impacting all our households and we can only imagine how much more difficult this is for those who were already stretched thin. One-third of the funds collected supports the Council for American Indian Ministry (CAMIN) and two-thirds is used by Justice and Witness Ministries to provide grants to UCC churches and organizations. With your generous support, The United Church of Christ, through the Neighbors in Need Special Mission Offering, helps its members live out their beliefs via acts of service. We will be collecting for this on October 2nd.

Cleaning in Preparation for the New Melle Food Coop
The Worship Committee is cleaning out the Sunday School rooms in preparation for the New Melle Food Coop. We have some small plastic chairs that we are offering to the congregation first. We have 12, mustard yellow chairs, 8 bright yellow chairs and 3 off white chairs. We are gathering up all of the books and sorting them. Once we have completed that, we will let you know what we have. If you are interested in any of these items, please let us know ASAP.
Our plan is to donate whatever is left to a charitable organization.
